L’Unione
Ippica del Mediterraneo (U.I.M.) ha istituito nel 2022 la competizione annuale
denominata “Campionato delle Isole del Mediterraneo”, riservata ai
rappresentanti delle isole di Corsica, Malta, Sardegna e Sicilia.
Le Isole partecipanti non sono obbligate ad
organizzare una corsa facente parte del circuito del Campionato, ma possono
prendervi parte ugualmente facendosi rappresentare da due fantini
professionisti nel circuito di galoppo e/o da due guidatori professionisti nel
circuito di trotto.
La seconda prova di galoppo della
competizione 2024 si disputerà all’Ippodromo di Chilivani il 31 agosto 2024, secondo
la seguente proposizione:

Book dei paesi d’origine, riconosciuti dalla Confederazione Internazionale
dell’Anglo Arabo, con percentuale di sangue arabo pari o superiore al 25%.

ed oltre kg 60. Sopraccarico di kg. 2 per ogni somma di €. 5.000 vinta
nell’annata. Discarico di kg 5 ai soggetti con percentuale di sangue arabo pari
o superiore al 50% qualificati a Fondo Arabo. Ulteriore discarico di kg 2 ai
figli di entrambi i genitori Anglo-arabi, di Kg 3 ai figli del PSA, esclusi i
soggetti con genitore PSI.

Cavalli
partecipanti:
Potranno iscriversi
alla corsa i cavalli iscritti ai Libri Genealogici dei cavalli anglo arabi,
regolarmente provvisti di Libretto Segnaletico e Certificato d’origine
attestante l’iscrizione agli Stud Book dei cavalli
anglo arabi del paese d’origine riconosciuti dalla Confederazione
Internazionale dell’Anglo Arabo, con percentuale di sangue arabo pari o
superiore al 25%.
Una
copia integrale del libretto segnaletico conforme alle prescrizioni degli Enti
Tecnici ed una rilevazione dettagliata delle prestazioni di ciascun cavallo da
iscrivere dovranno essere forniti all’Ippodromo di Chilivani entro il 12
agosto 2024 per i cavalli che correranno per la prima volta in Italia.
Sul
Libretto segnaletico del cavallo proveniente dall’estero, dovrà essere apposto
da parte dell’organismo tecnico competente per nazione il Visto valido come permesso di
esportazione temporaneo. In caso di mancanza il cavallo non sarà ammesso alla
corsa.
Le corse si svolgeranno nel rispetto dei
Regolamenti nazionali italiani.
Fantini
partecipanti:
I
fantini partecipanti dovranno essere in possesso di una licenza di monta valida
emessa da un’autorità ippica italiana o straniera e dovranno avere ottemperato,
prima della dichiarazione definitiva dei partenti, alle formalità richieste
dalle autorità ippiche italiane (MASAF) per essere autorizzati a montare in
corse.
Le Isole di Corsica e Sicilia,
partecipanti al Campionato delle Isole del Mediterraneo per la specialità del
galoppo, che non iscrivessero propri cavalli alla corsa, potranno prendervi
parte ugualmente inviando due fantini a rappresentare la propria Isola,
impegnandosi a selezionare fantini di esperienza e prestigio e ad inviare, per
i fantini stranieri, la forfait list dei
professionisti designati all’ippodromo prima della dichiarazione dei partenti.
Detti fantini monteranno i migliori
cavalli (migliori prestazioni) messi a disposizione dagli allenatori locali,
assegnati loro per mezzo di sorteggio pubblico effettuato alla presenza di un
rappresentante dell’Unione Ippica del Mediterraneo e/o inviato in tempo reale
al Consulente Tecnico dell’Unione Ippica del Mediterraneo mediante
videoripresa.
In occasione del predetto sorteggio,
l’Ippodromo di Chilivani designerà i due fantini che prenderanno parte al
Campionato delle Isole del Mediterraneo in rappresentanza della Sardegna.
Fra i 6 fantini delle Isole partecipanti
al Campionato delle Isole del Mediterraneo verrà stilata una classifica, in
funzione dell’ordine di arrivo della corsa sulla base dei seguenti punteggi: 12
punti andranno al primo classificato, 9 al secondo, 7 al terzo, 5 al quarto, 3
al quinto, 2 al sesto. Saranno esclusi dalla classifica, ai fini
dell’attribuzione dei punteggi, i piazzamenti dei cavalli montati dai fantini
non partecipanti al Campionato.
L’Ippodromo di Chilivani offrirà premi
d’onore ai fantini con il punteggio più alto rappresentanti le Isole prima,
seconda e terza classificata e si impegnerà a far pagare ai fantini stranieri
partecipanti le monte alla tariffa in vigore nel proprio paese, per mezzo di un
accordo con le Federazioni Ippiche dei fantini ospiti.
Preiscrizioni
e ospitalità:
Ogni
Isola partecipante al Campionato potrà iscrivere due cavalli o due fantini che monteranno cavalli locali nella
corsa entro il 12 Agosto 2024 (data di scadenza
delle preiscrizioni) precisando: il numero di cavalli che desiderano
iscrivere o, in alternativa, il numero di fantini,
il numero di persone che assisteranno alla corsa.
L’Ippodromo
di Chilivani provvederà ad organizzare il soggiorno in hotel per 2
pernottamenti, i trasferimenti da e per l’aeroporto ed un programma sociale per
i fantini partecipanti al Campionato delle Isole e i loro accompagnatori nel
numero limite di 5 persone per Isola.
L’Ippodromo
di Chilivani si occuperà inoltre di organizzare il soggiorno dei cavalli
stranieri e dei loro artieri presso l’ippodromo.
Tappe
e classifica finale:
Il
Campionato delle Isole del Mediterraneo 2024 prevede cinque tappe, la prima
disputata presso l’Ippodromo di Malta il 7 aprile 2024, la seconda disputata
presso l’ippodromo di Prunelli in Corsica il 23
giugno 2024, la terza in programma il 31 agosto 2024 all’ippodromo di Chilivani
e le finali in programma il 7 dicembre 2024 presso l’Ippodromo del Mediterraneo
di Siracusa, Italia.
In occasione di tali prove vengono
attribuiti dei punteggi ai fantini, ai guidatori e alle Isole in funzione del
risultato della corsa.
Al termine dell’ultima prova del Campionato
verrà stilata una classifica per Isole.
Al fantino che avrà totalizzato il punteggio
più alto tra i rappresentanti della Isola prima classificata nel circuito del
galoppo verrà attribuito il titolo di Campione delle Isole del Mediterraneo
2024.
Al guidatore che avrà totalizzato il
punteggio più alto tra i rappresentanti della Isola prima classificata nel
circuito del trotto verrà attribuito il titolo di Campione delle Isole del
Mediterraneo 2024.
All’Isola che avrà totalizzato il punteggio
più alto tra i due circuiti, rapportando il punteggio al numero di fantini o
guidatori che hanno corso per la sua squadra, verrà attribuito un premio
d’onore deciso dal Consiglio UIM in occasione dell’ultima prova.
In caso di parità l’ordine di classifica
verrà determinato considerando in primo luogo il maggior numero di vittorie,
successivamente il numero di migliori piazzamenti e, se la parità dovesse
persistere, si procederà ad un sorteggio.
I punteggi, per ogni tappa, saranno
attribuiti in funzione dell’ordine di arrivo della corsa nella maniera
seguente:
12 punti al primo, 9
al secondo; 7 al terzo; 5 al quarto; 3 al quinto; 2 al sesto. In caso di
squalifica per andatura irregolare, nelle corse al trotto, al concorrente verrà
attribuito 1 punto.
Nel
2024 il Campionato delle Isole del Mediterraneo per la specialità del galoppo
prevedrà tre tappe: a Prunelli in Corsica, a
Chilivani in Sardegna e a Siracusa in Sicilia.

I cavalli provenienti dall'estero
devono essere muniti di documenti validi che dimostrino il buono stato di
salute, ovvero l’assenza di eventuali segni clinici di malattie contagiose e
infettive (Coggins Test datato al massimo 30 giorni
prima).
È inoltre necessario esibire la
certificazione dell’avvenuta vaccinazione antinfluenzale secondo le norme
europee (al modulo di iscrizione sarà necessario allegare la copia della pagina
del libretto che certifichi le vaccinazioni eseguite)
I cavalli provenienti dal continente africano, oltre
alle certificazioni ed ai documenti predetti, dovranno essere muniti dei
seguenti documenti sanitari aggiuntivi necessari per l’importazione temporanea
in Francia, sede del porto sanitario (Marsiglia) da utilizzare per l’ingresso
nella comunità europea:
·
test di
ricerca della peste equina come descritto nell’allegato D della Direttiva
90/426/CEE e cioè IN DUE TEMPI, mediante due (2) campioni di sangue prelevati
in un intervallo di tempo compreso tra ventuno (21) e trenta (30) giorni, il
secondo dei quali prelevato dieci (10) giorni prima dell’esportazione, con
risultati negativi per i cavalli vaccinati o con risultati che non evidenzino
aumento degli anticorpi per i cavalli vaccinati;
·
test di
fissazione del complemento (F.d.C.) per la durina, con risultato negativo ad una diluizione di 1/10,
effettuato nei dieci (10) giorni precedenti all’esportazione;
·
test di
fissazione del complemento (F.d.C.) per la morva, con
risultato negativo ad una diluizione di 1/10, effettuato nei dieci (10) giorni
precedenti all’esportazione.
Per i cavalli, importati
temporaneamente per partecipazione a corse, dovrà essere depositata, presso la
segreteria della Società di corse, un’ora prima dell’orario di inizio della
giornata di corse, la seguente documentazione:
1. libretto
segnaletico;
2. nulla
osta per correre, rilasciato dall’autorità ippica del paese di provenienza del
soggetto, che dovrà pervenire al MASAF per iscritto non oltre il termine della
dichiarazione dei partenti e non prima di due giorni da tale termine. Tale
documento dovrà attestare che il cavallo non è sottoposto a restrizioni, che
l’allenatore è regolarmente patentato e che il proprietario, è regolarmente
registrato. In mancanza il cavallo potrà essere escluso dalla corsa oppure
potrà essere inflitta una multa.
3. certificato
veterinario attestante i dati segnaletici del soggetto rilevati prima della
partecipazione alla corsa dal veterinario incaricato dall’Amministrazione
presso l’ippodromo. Tale documento, redatto sia nella parte grafica che in
quella descrittiva sul modulo 2014 predisposto dall’Amministrazione per la
descrizione dei dati segnaletici, dovrà riportare anche la lettura del
microchip o indicare l’eventuale non rilevabilità dello stesso;
4. certificato
attestante le performances del cavallo nella sua carriera di corse rilasciato
dall’autorità ippica del Paese di provenienza.
La segreteria della Società di
corse deve provvedere all’immediato inoltro all’Amministrazione della copia
fotostatica del libretto segnaletico, del certificato veterinario di cui al
punto 3), nonché delle performances.
Per il deposito di tali documenti
è dovuto altresì il diritto di segreteria.

Sur l’Hippodrome

L’Union Hippique de la
Méditerranée (UHM) a institué en 2022 la compétition annuelle appelée
« Championnat des Iles de la Méditerranée », réservé aux
représentants des Iles de Corse, Malte, Sardaigne et Sicile.
Les Iles participantes ne
sont pas obligées d’organiser une épreuve s’intégrant dans le circuit du
Championnat, mais elles peuvent se faire représenter par deux jockeys professionnels
dans le circuit du galop et/ou par deux drivers professionnels dans le circuit
de trot.
La deuxième épreuve de
galop du nouveau challenge aura lieu sur l’Hippodrome de Chilivani
le 31 Aout 2024, selon les conditions suivantes :

CHAMPIONNAT DES ILES DE LA MEDITERRANEE
Allocation:
€. 24.200,00 € (Répartition: aux propriétaires: € 9350,00– € 4114,00– € 2244,00– € 1122,00 et
aux éleveurs : € 2860,00– € 1100,00– € 440,00).
Condition : Pour chevaux de 4 ans et plus de race anglo-arabe, régulièrement
inscrits aux Stud Books des Pays d’origine reconnus
par la Confédération Internationale de l’Anglo-Arabe, avec un pourcentage de
sang arabe égale ou supérieure au 25%.
Poids : 4 ans 58 kg. 5 ans et plus 60 kg.
Surcharge de 2 kg par chaque somme de 5.000€ gagnée dans l’année. Décharge
de 5 kg. pour les chevaux avec pourcentage de sang
arabe égale ou supérieure au 50% qualifiés au Fond Arabe. Décharge ultérieure
de kg. 2 aux fils de deux parents anglo-arabes, de kg. 3 pour les fils de pursang arabe, les chevaux avec un parent pursang anglais sont exclus.
Distance : 1800 mètres environ. (Grande piste)
Chevaux
participants :
Pourront être engagé à la course les chevaux
inscrits au stud-book anglo-arabe de leur pays de naissance régulièrement munis
d’un livret signalétique et d’un certificat d’origine attestant l’inscription
aux stud books des chevaux anglo-arabes du pays
d’origine reconnus par la Confédération Internationale de l’Anglo-Arabe, avec
un pourcentage de sang arabe égale ou supérieure au 25%.
Une copie intégrale du livret signalétique,
conforme aux prescriptions des Autorités Hippiques Italiennes, et un relevé
détaillé des performances pour chaque cheval à engager, devront être fournis à
l’Hippodrome de Chilivani avant le 12 aout 2024
pour les chevaux qui sont engagés
pour la première fois en Italie.
Sur le livret signalétique du cheval arrivant de
l’étranger, il faudra que l’organisme technique compétent de la nation ait
apposé un Visa valide autorisant l’exportation temporaire. En son absence le
cheval ne pourra pas prendre part à la course.
La Course se déroulera selon les règles nationales
italiennes
Jockeys
participants :
Les jockeys participants devront être titulaires
d’une autorisation de monter délivrée par l’autorité hippique italienne ou
étrangère et ayant satisfait, préalablement à la déclaration définitive des
partants, aux formalités demandées par l’autorité hippique italienne pour
monter en course.
Les Iles de Corse et Sicile, participantes aux
Championnat des Iles de la Méditerranée du galop qui n’auraient pas de chevaux
nationaux à inscrire à la course, pourront y prendre part en envoyant deux
jockeys qui représenteront leurs Ile, en choisissant des Jockeys d’expérience
et de prestige et devront envoyer, pour les jockeys étrangers, leur forfait list à l’hippodrome avant la déclaration des partants.
Ces Jockeys monteront des meilleurs chevaux
(meilleure performance) mis à leur disposition par les entraîneurs locaux, qui
leur seront attribués par un tirage au sort public effectué en présence d’un
représentant de l’Union Hippique de la Méditerranée et/ou envoyé en temps réel
au Consultant Technique de l’UHM par le biais d’une reprise vidéo lors de ce
même tirage au sort.
Lors de ce tirage au sort, l’Hippodrome de Chilivani indiquera les deux jockeys qui prendront part au
Championnat des Iles de la Méditerranée en représentance
de la Sardaigne.
Parmi les 6 jockeys des Iles participant au
Championnat des Iles de la Méditerranée on établira un classement, en fonction
de l’ordre d’arrivée de la course sur la base d’obtention de points suivants:
12 points au premier, 9 au second, 7 au troisième, 5 au quatrième, 3 au
cinquième, 2 au sixième. Seront exclus de ce classement, pour l’attribution des
points, les places obtenues par les chevaux montés par les jockeys qui ne participent
pas au Championnat.
L’Hippodrome de Chilivani
offrira un prix d’honneur aux jockeys avec les points maximum représentants les
Iles classées première, seconde et troisième classifiée et s’emploiera à faire
payer aux jockeys étrangers participants, les montes selon le tarif en vigueur
dans leur propre pays, par l’intermédiaire d’un accord avec les Fédérations
Hippiques des Jockeys invités.
Pré-inscriptions
et hospitalité :
Chaque Ile participante au Championnat pourra
engager deux chevaux ou deux jockeys qui monteront des chevaux locaux pour la
course avant le 12 aout 2024 (date d’échéance des pré-inscriptions) à
l’Hippodrome de Chilivani précisant: le nombre de
chevaux qu’ils souhaitent engager ou alternativement le nombre de jockeys, le
nombre de personnes qui assisteront à la course.
L’Hippodrome de Chilivani
prendra en charge le séjour en hôtel pour 2 nuits, les transferts de l’aéroport
et un programme d’accueil pour les jockeys participants au Championnat des Iles
et leurs accompagnateurs dans la limite de 5 personnes par Ile.
L’Hippodrome de Chilivani
se chargera en outre d’organiser le séjour des chevaux étrangers et de leurs
lads sur l’hippodrome.
Étapes et classement final :
Le Championnat des Iles de la Méditerranée du trot
se déroule en cinque étapes, la première sur
l’Hippodrome de Malte le 7 avril 2024, la deuxième sur l’hippodrome de Prunelli en Corse le 23 juin 2024, la troisième sur
l’hippodrome de Chilivani le 31 aout 2024 et les
finales le 7 décembre 2024 sur l’Hippodrome del Mediterraneo de Syracuse.
Après la dernière étape du Championnat, un
classement par Iles sera établi.
Au jockey
qui aura obtenu un nombre de points maximum parmi l’Île, première au classement
du circuit du galop, le titre de Champion des Îles de la Méditerranée lui sera
attribué.
Au driver
qui aura obtenu un nombre de points maximum parmi l’Île, première au classement
du circuit du trot, le titre de Champion des Îles de la Méditerranée lui sera
attribué.
Un prix
d’honneur décidé par le Conseil de l’UHM sera attribué à l’occasion de la
dernière épreuve à l’Île qui aura obtenu le nombre de points maximum parmi les
deux circuits, après avoir rapporté les points au nombre de jockeys/drivers qui
ont couru pour son équipe.
En cas d’æxequo on considère le nombre de victoires, ensuite le
nombre de meilleures places et, si l’égalité persiste, on procédera à un tirage
au sort.
Les points, pour chaque
étape, seront attribués comme suit en fonction de l’ordre d’arrivée de la
course: 12 points au premier, 9 au deuxième, 7 au troisième, 5 au quatrième, 3
au cinquième, 2 au sixième. Si un driver est
disqualifié pour allures irrégulières dans les courses au trot, il e se verra
attribué un point.
En 2024 le Championnat des Iles de la Méditerranée
de galop comprendra trois étapes : à Prunelli en
Corse, à Chilivani en Sardaigne et à Syracuse en
Sicile.

NORMES SANITAIRES :
Les chevaux arrivant de l’étranger devront
satisfaire aux obligations sanitaires qui prouveront leur bonne santé, ainsi
que l’absence d’éventuels signes cliniques de maladies contagieuses et
infectieuses (test de Coggins datant de moins de 30 jours).
Il sera en outre obligatoire de présenter un carnet
de santé avec la certification de la vaccination antigrippale selon les normes
européennes. (au moment de l’inscription il faudra y
joindre une copie de la page du livret certifiant que ladite vaccination a bien
été faite.
Pour les chevaux en provenance d’Afrique, outre les
documents sanitaires précédant, ils devront en outre être munis des documents
sanitaires ajoutés ci- dessous et nécessaires pour l’importation temporaire en
France, dont le port sanitaire est Marseille et leur permettant l’entrée dans
le Communauté européenne.
1 – Un test de Coggins pour l’anémie infectieuse,
avec résultat négatif, fait au cours des trente jours (30) précédant
l’exportation
2- Un test
de fixation du complément pour la dourine , avec
résultat négatif à une dilution de 1/10, fait au cours des dix jours (10) précédant l’exportation
3- Un test de fixation du complément pour la morve,
avec résultat négatif à une dilution de 1/10, fait au cours des dix jours (10)
précédant l’exportation
4 – Un test de recherche de la peste équine, comme
décrit à l’annexe D de la Directive 90/426/CEE soit

A DEUX REPRISES, à l’aide
d’échantillons sanguins prélevés à un intervalle compris entre 21 et 30 jours , le second échantillon ayant été prélevé dix jours
(10) précédant l’exportation , avec des
résultats négatifs , s’il n’a pas été vacciné ou sans accroissement des
anticorps s’il a été vacciné ;
NORMES
REGLEMENTAIRES :
Pour les chevaux en importation temporaire pour
participer aux courses, il faudra déposer auprès du Secrétariat de la Société
des Courses, une heure avant de l’horaire du début des opérations de la journée
de courses ; la documentation suivante :
1- Le livret signalétique ;
2- Une autorisation de courir, délivrée par les
autorités hippiques du pays d’où vient le cheval qui devra parvenir au MASAF
pas après la fin de la déclaration des partants et pas avant les deux jours
précédents ladite déclaration. Ce document devra attester que le cheval n’est
soumis à aucune restriction, que l’entraîneur et dûment patenté et que le
propriétaire est régulièrement enregistré. En cas de manquement, le cheval
pourra être exclu de la course et même une amende pourra être infligée ;
3- Un certificat vétérinaire attestant les données
signalétiques du sujet, relevées avant sa participation à la course par le
Vétérinaire chargé par l’Administration auprès de l’hippodrome. Ce document,
rédigé tant dans sa partie graphique que dans sa description sur le feuillet
2014 préparé par l’Administration pour la description des données
signalétiques, devra reporter la lecture de la puce électronique ou indiquer
son impossibilité à la détecter ;
4- Un certificat attestant les performances du cheval
dans sa carrière de courses délivré par l’autorité hippique du pays de sa
provenance.
Le secrétariat de la Société des
courses devra immédiatement communiquer à l’Administration la copie photostatique du livret signalétique, du certificat
vétérinaire mentionné au point N° 3, ainsi que les performances.
Pour le dépôt de ces documents il
est également dû un droit de secrétariat.
Ne peuvent participer aux courses
régies par l’Administration que les chevaux inscrits dans des STUD BOOKS approuv
MEDITERRANEAN ISLANDS CHAMPIONSHIP

The Mediterranean Horseracing Union (MHU) established in 2022 the
annual competition named “Mediterranean Islands Championship”, reserved to the
representatives of the islands of Corsica, Malta, Sardinia, and Sicily.
The
participating Islands are not obliged to organize a leg to be
inserted into the Championship circuit, but they can participate to it
all the same with two representing professional jockeys in the gallop circuit
and/or with two representing professional drivers in the trot circuit.
The second
gallop leg of the 2024 tournament will take place at Chilivani
Racecourse on August 31th 2024, according to the following
conditions:
MEDITERRANEAN ISLANDS CHAMPIONSHIP
Prize
money: € 24.200,00 (Breakdown:
to the owners: €
9350,00– € 4114,00– € 2244,00– € 1122,00 and to the breeders: € 2860,00– € 1100,00– € 440,00)
Conditions:
for 4 years-old and older horses of Anglo-Arab breed entered in the stud-books of their country of birth recognized by the
International Anglo Arab Federation with a percentage of Arab blood equal or
greater than 25%.
Weights:
4-year-olds 58 kg; 5 year-olds and older kg 60. Additional weight of 2 kg for
each earning of € 5.000 during the year. Discharge of
5 kg. for the horses with a percentage of Arab blood
equal or greater than 50% qualified in the Arab Fund. Further discharge of 2 kg
for the horses with both Anglo-Arab parents, of 3 kg to the sons of Arab
thoroughbreds, any sons of English thoroughbreds are excluded.
Distance:
about 1800 meters (Big Track)
Participating
horses:
The horses entered in the Anglo-Arab stud-book of their country of birth, disposing of a passport
and of a certificate of origins proving the inscription in the stud-books of
the Anglo-Arab horses of their country of birth recognized by the International
Anglo Arab Federation will have the right to be entered in the race.
A full copy of the horse passport, issued
according to the Horseracing Authorities regulations, and a detailed
performances sheet for each horse to be entered in the races, will have to be
sent to Sassari racecourse within August
12th 2024 (entry deadline for the horses
entered for the first time in Italy).
The foreign horseracing authorities will have to
put a Visa valid as temporary export permit on the certificate of origins of
the horses arriving from abroad. Foreign horses without this Visa will not be admitted in the race.
The races will take place according to the
national Italian regulations.
Participating
jockeys:
The participating jockeys must have a valid
riding license issued by the Italian or by a foreign horseracing authority and
satisfy, before the final starting declaration, to all formalities requested by
the Italian horseracing authority (MASAF) to ride in the race.
The Islands of Corsica and
Sicily, participating in the Mediterranean gallop Islands Championship, that
should not enter their horses in the race may participate however sending two
jockeys to represent their island, committing themselves to select prestigious
and experienced jockeys and to send, for the foreign jockeys, the forfeit list
of the selected professionals to the racecourse before the starting
declaration.
These jockeys will ride best horses (better
performance) put at their disposal by the local stables, assigned them through
a public drawing made at the presence of a Mediterranean Horseracing Union
representative and/or sent by video in real time to the MHU Technical Advisor.
In occasion of this drawing, Chilivani
Racecoure will indicate the two jockeys that will
participate in the Mediterranean Jockeys Championship as representatives of
Sardinia.
Among the 6 jockeys of the Islands participating
in the Mediterranean Jockeys Championship
a classification will be drawn, according to the arrival order of the
race, assigning the following points: 12 points to the first; 9 to the second;
7 to the third; 5 to the forth; 3 to the fifth; 2 to the sixth. The results of
the horses assigned to jockeys not participating in the challenge will be
excluded from the classification for the points
attribution.
Chilivani racecourse will offer honor prizes to the
jockeys with the highest score representing the Islands classed first, second
and third in the challenge and will ensure the payment of the jockey’s tariff
in force in its country to the foreign jockeys participating in the race,
though an agreement with their National Horseracing Federations.
Pre-entries
and hospitality:
Each participating Island may enter two horses
or two jockeys that will ride local horses for the race within August 12 th
2024 (deadline of the pre-entries) at Chilivani
racecourse specifying: how many horses they wish to enter, or, in alternative,
how many jockeys, the number of persons wishing to assist to the races.
Chilivani racecourse will take care of the hotel stay for
2 nights, of the transfers from and to the airport and of a social program for
the jockeys participating in the Islands Championship and their accompanying
guests in the limit of 5 persons per Island.
Chilivani racecourse will furthermore take care of the
horses and lads accommodation at the racecourse.
Next
legs and final classification:
The Mediterranean Islands Championship 2024 will
include five legs: the first on April 7th
in Malta, the second on June 23rd in Prunelli
in Corsica, the third on August 31st in Chilivani
in Sardinia and the final legs on December 7th in Syracuse, Sicily.
At the end of the last Championship leg an
Islands classification will be drawn.
The jockey with the highest score among the
jockeys of the winning Island in the gallop tournament will
be awarded with the title of 2024
Mediterranean Islands Champion.
The driver with the highest score among the
drivers of the winning Island in the trot tournament will be
awarded with the title of 2024
Mediterranean Islands Champion.
In occasion of the
last leg an honour prize decided by the MHU Board will
be assigned to the Island having earned the most points in the two circuits,
after having compared the score to the number of drivers or jockeys that raced
for its team.
In case of aexequo the
number of victories will be considered, then the
number of best places and, should the æxequo persist,
a drawing will be performed.
For each leg the
points will be designated as follows in relation of the arrival order of the
race: 12 points to the first, 9 to the second, 7 to the third, 5 to the fourth,
3 to the fifth, 2 to the sixth. In case of disqualification for irregular gait
in the trot races, 1 point will be assigned.
In 2024 the gallop
Mediterranean Islands Championship will also include three legs scheduled at Prunelli racecourse in Corsica, France, at Chilivani racecourse in Sardinia and at Syracuse racecourse
in Sicily.

SANITARY
RULES :
The horses arriving from abroad will need to
have valid sanitary documents proving their good health condition, that is to
say no clinic signs of any infective or contagious diseases (Coggins test for
infectious anemia, with negative result, made during the thirty
(30) days before the exportation).
The flu vaccine certification made according to
the European rules is also necessary (a copy of the page of the vaccine
record-book reporting the last vaccines must be enclosed
to the entry sheet).
The horses arriving from the African continent,
in addition to the above documents and certifications, will also need to show
the following additional sanitary documents needed for the temporary
importation in France, seat of the sanitary port (Marseille) to be used to enter in the European Community:
-
Fixation test of the dourine complement, with negative result with a
dilution of 1/10, made during the ten (10) days before the exportation
- Fixation test of the glanders
complement, with negative result with a dilution of 1/10, made during the ten
(10) days before the exportation
– Research test of equine plague, as described in the
attachment D of the Direction 90/426/CEE, that is to say:
- IN
TWO TIMES, using blood specimens taken with an interval of time from 21 until
30 days, the second specimen to be taken ten (10) days before the exportation,
with negative result, if the horse is not vaccinated or if there has been no
growth of antibody should the horse have been vaccinated.
HORSES
DOCUMENTS:
The temporary imported horses will have to
deposit at the Racecourse secretary, one hour before the races meeting start,
the following documents:
1) Horse passport;
2) Good standing declaration issued by the
horseracing authority of the country of origin, that will have to be sent
MIPAAF in writing within the starting declaration deadline but not before two
days from that deadline. This document will have to certify that the horse has
no penalties or restrictions, that the trainer has a regular training license
and that the owner is regularly registered. Should this
declaration not be provided, the horse may be excluded from the race or
be submitted to a penalty.
3) Veterinary certification of the identification
marks issued by the veterinarian charged by the Italian authorities at the
racecourse. This certification, filled both in the graphic section and in the
description using the 2014 form issued by the Administration for the
description of the identification marks, will also have to report the microchip
scanning result;
4) Performances sheet of the horse during its
career issued by the Horseracing Authority of its country of origin.
The Racecourse secretary will have to immediately send a copy of the horse passport, of the
veterinary certification described at point 3 and of the performances sheet to
the Administration. Secretary fees are due for the deposit of the above
documents.
Only horses entered in approved Stud Books are allowed to race in the races organized by the Italian
horseracing authority.
